When I put pen to paper or keyboard to word document, I found myself with an enormous amount of useful business material I’ve used since 1992. This experience is drawn from many different business entities including acting as the GM responsible for everything from staff to sales for a small Texan testing firm. Acting as a GM in the middle east and ownership and management in 3 other businesses; owner of a Telecoms equipment and supply company; small business consulting company and a Network marketing business. Several of these I continue to own but consult from afar. The strategies I talk about in this book are still in place at these companies.

Even though I truly believe we are all 1 or 2 great marketing ideas away from more sales opportunities than we can fully imagine, I believe the first two chapters are as important as the following eight. The strategies in this book – when implemented with strategy and care – are guaranteed to make you more money with less effort. Of course the key here is to implement, this book is not about ‘shelf development’ but business development. These are strategies that have helped businesses just like yours make hundreds of thousands of pounds – including your competitors.

This is the reason I have dedicated my life to Business Consulting and coaching. Since starting my company to provide direction for small business owners, I have been literally overwhelmed with the demand for marketing, structure, accountability and for the need to have small business owners surrounding themselves with someone that cares and to provide a proper and profitable third party perspective.

As you go through the book and read the principles to follow, remember it does not matter what industry nor type of business you operate (I’ve been part of many). What matters is that you grasp the heart of the principles, the underlying lessons and strategies, that can help grow any operation in any category of business imaginable.

It’s also important that if you are to get any value out of this book that you implement the strategies in the book. So simply take one strategy at a time and implement it and once that’s working move on to the next.
